We are situated in the village of Ameglia, just on the border between Liguria and Tuscany. With a glass of wine in hand, enjoying the warm summer breeze, we let the feet hang in the Magra River. In the surrounding villages you can taste the real and authentic Italy of Della Mamma. The colorful villages seem to stick to the mountains, with a sea view - you would never want to leave.
Florence or Florence
Florence was the capital of the Renaissance and for that reason alone you must have been there. The Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, for example, not only looks impressive, but that megalomaniac feeling only reaches higher levels when you outline it in its overall picture: the many churches, bridges, squares and palaces surprise you time and time again.
Pisa
It should of course not be missing. The famous leaning tower, where Galileo once demonstrated the operation of a telescope, must be seen. It is a real tourist attraction, but afterwards you can enjoy the peace again at the campsite.
